Climate Ready South East Scotland is delighted to be working with the region’s climate hubs to gather local lived experience of climate change impacts and coastal change. The project has provided grant funding to the region’s six climate hubs to hold events with communities across the region. These will gather local insights about how climate impacts are affecting people, places, businesses, infrastructure and the natural environment.
This lived experience will be added to the project story map to inform the risk assessment and help in the selection of adaptation priorities for the region. Alongside the formal evidence review, and the new science and economic assessments being carried out by CRSES, this local anecdotal evidence tells us how climate change is affecting real people and places today.
